Creating Custom Transitions in Premiere

Creating cool, custom transitions is fast and easy. It's also infinitely cooler and more interesting than the stock transitions - ugh! Only a few rules here:

• Any transition you use should be motivated by your content! Don't just stick something in there for no reason.
• Stick with cuts and dissolves for most of your video work, and save the custom transitions for titles, graphics, and special occasions.
• Once you have a nice custom transition, save it by right-clicking on the effects in the Effects Settings panel and choosing Save Preset.

This video covers keyframing, scale, rotation, position, and effects. Some of the effects will need to be downloaded from Doc Sharing and installed.
